Thermal laboratory is concerned with the industrial applications of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics and heat and mass transport. Using a combined approach of theoretical analysis, numerical calculations and experimental investigations, this aims to develop new or advanced knowledge for application in industrial design

Thermodynamics Laboratory carries out various numerical and experimental research activities in the field of thermal and energy systems. The main fields of research are refrigeration, positive displacement machines (compressors and expanders), building physics and HVAC systems, combustion, internal combustion engines, heat exchangers and small and medium scale Organic Rankine Cycles.

CNC and Automation Lab(We don’t have PLC and SCADA)

The CNC Lab is provided with machines like Turning and vertical machining center for the analysis of manufacturing of various components for the industrial application oriented manner.

We provide sophisticated Automobile Engineering Laboratories such as Engine Testing & Pollution Measurement Lab, Auto Scanning Lab (including various set-ups as Wheel balancing, Wheel Alignment, Headlight focusing etc).

Refrigeration and Air Conditioning Lab

Air conditioning and refrigeration lab introduces students to key technical components of heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration (HVACR) systems. Topics covered include safety procedures, fossil fuel combustion systems and electrical components. We offer wide range of Refrigeration and Air Conditioning laboratory equipments for analysis of refriferation cycle in different ares of application.
