Fluid Machines Lab
A fluid machine Labs are developed to create concepts and applications which converts the energy stored by a fluid into mechanical energy. Lab Solutions from Edutech helps in understanding the concepts of basic fluid mechanical principle governing the energy transfer in a fluid machine and also a brief description of different kinds of hydraulic machines along with their performances.
Process Control & Chemical Energy Lab
A wide variety of modern laboratories are available to meet the requirements of a broad range of experimental and computational research. The Process Control Instruments Laboratory consists of Pressure Laboratory, Temperature Laboratory & Flow Laboratory. The Process Control Instruments Lab. Undertakes calibration and testing of Instruments relating to Pressure, Vacuum, Temperature, Force & Flow. Chemical Energy labboratories are equipped for research in polymeric materials, diffusion and coagulation, fluid mechanics and transport phenomena, chemical vapor deposition and surface chemistry and catalysis.
Control and Instrumentation Lab
Instrumentation and Control laboratory provides a “hands – on” experience and plays an important role for understanding of theoretical concepts. Edutech provides solutions to equip Instrumentation and Control laboratory with instruments like temperature measurement, level detection, pressure measurement, flow measurement etc. and different types of valves, e.g., solenoid valves, servo valves, etc. On different panels or rigs these can be arranged in different control configurations to achieve specific control objectives.
Unit of Operations Lab
Unit Operations Laboratory provides chemical engineering the opportunity to observe, analyze and apply their engineering knowledge and training to the operation of equipment and processes commonly found in many chemical industries. The unit-operations Lab experiments focused on pumping fundamentals, heat exchange, membrane separation, kinetics, liquid extraction, vacuum drying, and flow measurement, among other chemical processes.
Heat Transfer Lab
These experiments help the students to understand all the 3 modes of heat transfer, namely conduction, convection and radiation practically. These experiments also pave way for inculcating certain innovative skills in the students making them to use the above experimental setups as starting point to take up higher level experimental studies in Heat Transfer.
